hi !
i have read here serveral times, that while the usb interface "just" allows 6 simultanous keystrokes, the ps/2 interface allows for near infinite.
i was wondering if theres any disadvantage buying the ps/2 model ? maybe it operates at lower speeds or something ? is there any reason i should consider the usb over the ps/2 modell ?
thanks.

USB is hot-pluggable, PS2 is not. Many newer computers come without PS2 ports so USB is the only real choice in that case. I don't think PS2 ports will completely die off but PS2 is considered a legacy port whereas USB is (for now) the future so it is probably more forward-compatible.
