I've seen a lot of conflicting information about this. I have a fire 82 in the mail right now. Will it have NKRO? Do the other models have it? (ice and toxic 82-keys)

edit: to clarify, I do not need true NKRO, 6 keys is plenty for me. What I just read from another post though is that the fire 82 keys has problems with fewer than that. I wanted to know because I'd look into having it exchanged, for either the toxic or ice.

In short your 82 Fire will not have NKRO.

That much I got, the keyboard is returning to ppc anyway. But what about the ICE (which they said they would have in stock in about 2 weeks) and the toxic (they have 2 left)?

I assume the new ICE shipment will be the fixed version, while the toxic would have the same problem as the fire?

I just want to make absolutely sure, as I don't want to end up spending the price of the keyboard in shipping costs...(I'm in canada).

Ice and Toxic are not affected by this issue, both will have full NKRO (6 keys).

Perfect. I'm going to go with the toxic then as the goal was to swap the switches and leds anyway (that was the original reason I was sending the fire back).
