I want to buy a Deck 82 from Activekeys. I am sill deciding between gold and red. So i have read DeckGuy Adam saying the red one had ghosting problems. But the gold was not mentioned in the ones without those problems, thus i am not sure about this.

So does it apply also to the gold?

And more imprtant, does it apply to the red/gold http://www.activekeyboards.com/en/ is selling? Maybe they are newer models, i don't know.

Even if both still have that flaw, i don't really need anti ghosting, but i would like to know and probably take the better color version if it only applies to the red one.

Wow I was unaware that they even had stock of those products still...anyways, the answer to your question is yes, both Fire and Gold 82 key models have the ghosting issue as they are old revision products. Go with the Ice or Toxic, they should not have the same issue.

The Ice and Toxic cost significantly more, for me not worth the nkro because i don't see any use of it right now. So i think i'll just take the gold one. : )

Today I received a Deck 82 Toxic USB KBA-CBL82 Serial Number D000729. This keyboard has 2-key rollover under USB or PS/2 as shown using the Microsoft* test. For example, pressing X and holding, then Z and holding, means--for the most part--that additional key presses are not recognized. Is there a special adapter required to achieve N-key rollover in PS/2?

I was under the impression from this thread that all Deck 82 Toxic were N Key Rollover. Looking forward to a reply.

Where did you purchase this Deck from - directly from us or from a reseller? This is an old, old revision.

It was purchased used from eBay. It's likely to be the old revision. Thanks for clarifying.
