I just ordered a deck legend tactile recently, and am liking the cherry mx clears and the nice backlighting.
My question is if anyone has ordered or knows of where a keyboard cover -- not one of the soft flimsy ones, but a harder shell like protector -- could be ordered for the deck legend?
I'm not really thinking of the covers that mold to every key of the keyboard, just something that molds to the keyboard frame, and covers the keys, so that I could cover the keyboard at night or when I am away.
Thank you for your replies!
Afterthoughts: I had a hard time deciding on which keyboards to buy so here is a little info on my experience with the switches I chose:
For anyone wondering about the clear vs brown switches:
I also use a Das keyboard at work, and it uses brown switches. I can say I verily like both. The clears definitely give more feedback when depressing, and require more force to activate. As a person who also games at home, this extra force creates a good balance. The brown switches I use at work are perfect there since they are slightly less loud than any blue switch, but still tactile in nature. They are very light to the touch, and tend to save your hands from making too much effort when typing.
Wheras the clears tend to strengthen your hands and muscles by promoting care when taking each stroke, the browns seem to promote speed and precision through relaxation. I like both for typing and enjoy the clears for gaming. I am steadily becoming more accustomed to each. Hope this helps anyone out there still on the fence!
