Hey, I really love the looks of the keyboard, but I am wondering how loud the "click" of the keyboard is. On my current one, the keys obviously make some sound when I hit them, but if I hit them softer then they don't make any noise at all. Is this the case with the Deck, or is the clicking sound unavoidable?

Yeah, there's no active click noise on the Deck keyboards like there is on the IBM Model M (the true "clicky" keyboard.)

There is no "click" noise. The keys are as smooth as butter. They only move up and down. You know how some keys wiggle a little in their place on the average keyboard? This board don't do that. Really solid. There is no click.

The only noise you here is a "tap" when you hit the key and it hits the board. It's noise level is determined by how quickly and hard you press the key. If your dexterous enough you could type in complete silence. (ie, soft touch - like a piano).
