I finally did it! I got my deck ice, and put some green leds under the keys. but I couldn't stop there, I put the rest of the led's under the keyboard, creating a "ground effect" type of effect (this will be better once I get a clear covering)

for those that are wondering, MJW are my initials, that's why I picked those keys. I was originally going to do the WASD keys, but figured this was more personal (and sweet). I did the bottom of the board too because i ordered 6 led's but got 12!!

The reason why I got a deck (sorry if this sounds like a commercial):
I was fed up with my laptop keyboard when typing papers/gaming/whatever else, and my "real" keyboard wouldn't fit in my bag. so, I got the deck, because I figured it would be able to outlast the computer, even in the bag. when I got it, and plugged it in, I almost creamed my pants. the blue lighting was mesmerizing, and I don't think i did anything but stare at it for the next 30 minutes.

p.s.: I haven't yet seen a picture that does this keyboard justice. these ones are no different. you simply have to see it in person.

Very nice mod thumper! And yes you are right - there are no pictures that do the board justice! I have taken many of the pictures on the website and it is extremely difficult to capture just how it looks in person...you have to see it to believe it!

By the way, how many other boards can you do this to? Zero!
