On the 82 key it says it uses a A type plug at computer to a B type on the keyboard. What about on the legend 105 key ? I wana put a led lit usb cable on, not sure what type of connection is uses in the keyboard, I actully was under the impression that the keyboard came with a led lit usb and a diamond plate aluminium bottom , The web page is a little mis leading when you read about the keyboard stats it dosent say only on 82 key? It really should! But other than that im really likin the product!

The cable is actually USB type A on one end, and PS/2 on the other. That way, you use the same cable if you convert the keyboard from USB to PS/2 (or vice versa). It may be difficult to find a LED cable like that, so you may have to hack one together or do some soldering.

So the connection is ps/2 inside the actual keyboard? Seems like if it was being switched to ps/2 then you would need a cable that had ps/2 connections on both end? if it is indeed ps/2 then you are probbly correct , I dont think ill be able to find a cable thats lit with those connections

so is it a male or female ps/2 connection @ the keyboard side of cable?

The cable is male USB type A (male) on one end and PS2 male on the other. The connectors on the circuit board are both female. You will probably not be able to find a lighted cable for this but you could try and solder one up (I wouldn't reccomend this but I can't stop you! )
