I painted the top housing with some paint we had laying around the shop.

That's exactly the look I want! But I would be brave enough to try that only if replacement casings were available if I ruined the paint job. Since this is the last keyboard I will ever need to buy, I can't go to my grave staring at a messed up finish, can I? :)
