I been reading The Deck legend user manual (the PDF version) According to UPS tracker I not getting my keyboard till June 4, tomorrow.
I was reading the Interface conversion section about "interface can be changed from PS/2 to USB and vice-versa". It reads "clip-out and discard the 10K Ohm resistor at 'W3' " for PS/2 to USB conversion. And to solder a 10K Ohm resistor to change it back.
I was thinking of placing a switch that allows me to connect and disconnect the resistor instead of soldering and unsodering it. I am thinking of keeping this switch internal for safety sakes, I don't want to leave out the resistor in PS/2 mode or leave it in on USB mode. That way, when I have to switch the cord around; I just have to open up the Keyboard, flip the cord around and flip a single switch.
What do you guys think?
