Just had this idea so I figured I'd post it here; it would be pretty wicked if you guys made a driver for your keyboards that allowed you to assign commands/macros or whatever to the function button key (obviously excluding numbers) ie. set it so that fn + e opens up internet explorer

+1 to that.
The FN key opens up a whole world of possibilities. However, I believe the current function of the FN key is just to adjust the light levels. Does the computer even "see" the FN key, or is it just an internal button?
