Suggestion:
A trackpoint mouse integrated in the mini size.

This would make a great server/embedded keyboard, especially if you could enumerate both keyboard and mouse over one USB connection. (call me if you need custom USB device firmware for that

In General:
For me, the tactile keys are always preferred.

It seems like the switch type could be a modular thing and you guys could assemble any keyboard with any switch type.

I'm still loving the white legend here after a year of use. I'd be happy with a trackpoint in that as well to tell the truth. Even in combination with continuing to use an actual mouse.
