Got mine yesterday, and let me tell you, from the moment I clicked the "Submit Order" button it was pure LOVE!!!
Since TG3 isn't that far from me, the 3-5 day shipping (the cheap one) turned into a next day delivery.
From the fact that one of the keys had popped out it can be assumed that UPS was none too gentle with the package, but the Deck Legend fired right up without any problems.
This board is heavier than I am used to, giving it a solid, sturdy feeling. The raisers are big and solid. The keys are firm not wriggly, and make a satisfying, oldfashioned clicking sound as you type (personally I love it).
The board, out of the box, looks unremarkable, the keys are just legible, but as soon as you plug it in, OHHH BOY!!!
At any setting this board is brighter and more legible than the other back-lit keyboard I tried. The seperate LED for every key makes each very distinct and there is little backwash illumination between keys, which on other boards can blur the whole board and make the keys indistinct.
I have to say I was leary of spending $149 for a keyboard but this one is worth every penny. I have long looked for a board that would actually let me turn the lights off. I have found it, awsome work guys, THANK YOU!!!
PS: I brought it to work today and showed it to all the guys LOL.. be assured they won't be outdone by a geeky "gurl" and there will be more orders incoming from this area =) They all loved the board, too.
