I just ordered the Deck Ice keyboard today. Been wanting a backlit keyboard for awhile since I like to play games in the dark (being my LCD monitor has quite a bit of glare from the overhead lights.

Question.

I currently have a standard 104 key keyboard and now I'm switching to this 82 key Deck (never really used those numbered keys on the right anyway). I also do a lot of typing. I read that the Beck Ice is like 12" long. I measured my current keyboard and it measure about 11 3/4" from the left edge to the tip of the right shift key. It seems you have squeezed another row of keys (to the right of that right shift key) in 1/4" of space. I hope the keys are not spaced too close together in relation to the keyboard I"m using now.

So just how much closer are the keys compared to a standard keyboard?

I thought the Deck guys were supposed to answer questions.
