Why not make the keyboard body and keys out of brushed aluminum, with backlit LEDs? Possibly much more expensive, but worth the cost in my opinion.

Currently I own the 105 key "Ice" keyboard and love it. Basically the 105 key built out of aluminum would be awesome.

Lian-Li is a producer of computer components, mostly PC cases and enclosures I believe. I won't give any more free advertising other than that. If you are more interested in them I would suggest a Google search.

there are other products similar to this and I'm not just saying this one is better than any other, but is a possible solution to make your Deck Legend to appear to be made from Brushed Aluminum. Please note from what I've heard Alsacorp's Brushed Aluminum FX sheeting matches Lian-Li real well.

Might be able to find a sign shop in your area that has some scrap Brushed Aluminum FX (could be any brand, as they use this stuff all the time) sheeting they will give you for free! As keyboards have such a small surface area to cover.
