The
IOGEAR 2-Port DVI KVM Switch (model # GCS1762) works for me, with this setup:
Deck Legend USB keyboard
Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0
Dell 2407 WFP (24" widescreen display / 1920 x 1200 DVI)
Sony ICF IR7 speaker system
PC#1: Gateway GM5416E tower CPU / NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS / Windows Vista
PC#2: Sony VAIO VGN-A250 notebook / ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 / WindowsXP
Switching works properly ('as advertised' by the manufacturer) via the KVM
front panel buttons, as well as the 'Scroll Lock' key on my Legend keyboard.
You can also change the hotkey to use the 'Ctrl' key, instead of 'Scroll Lock'.
The IOGEAR GCS1762 KVM sells for
$249.95 on the manufacturer's website
but I only paid
$167.99 on Amazon.com
It's my understanding that KVM switches are hit-and-miss, so whatever you do,
just make sure you have the right to return it, if it doesn't work.
Good luck and best wishes to all my fellow DECK fans (and Adam too :ยท)
