I got my 82 Key Fire DECK on Apr 01, 2005. A couple of weeks later, my husband got jealous and I bought the Gold version for him. A year and a half later and they're showing ZERO signs of wear. I just wanted to come here and tell you guys how happy and satisfied I am with these keyboards. I recommend you to all of my friends in the market for a new board.

After going through numerous keyboards about every 6 months before these, I can attest to the longevity and durability of this product. Electro-luminescent and strip lighting just wasn't cutting it for me. The DECK lights are still as bright as the day I bought them which was the primary reason for the initial purchase. In addition, every working part of these board are in the same pristine condition they were in when I purchased them.

So thank you, Deck guys, for making a clearly superior product. I will never use another keyboard again (and it almost seems I won't have to!)

Resurrecting the dead (thread)...

I wanted to add my comments to this one since I've also been using my keyboards for a while now.

Got the fire (didn't like it so much), so I traded it for a toxic & ordered a blue as well.

I've been using them for the past three years (with 21 key add-ons) & they still look almost new. Only minor spots of "shine" on the keys where I've worn them smooth.

Plus I love how people ask if I'm beating on a tank when I type. What can I say, I learned to type on typewriters, not wimpy PC keyboards.
