Hello,
I've looked at what other posts i could find about cleaning the deck keyboards, on the other hand i don't have the means to solder/desolder.
But i am wondering if it is safe to spray the keyboard w/lysol or something similar to kill bacteria and whatnot. I may have been exposed to pinkeye through my work, and i don't want it to sit on my keyboard and possibly spread the infection farther.

Thanks,
Sabs

I would agree that wipes are probably a safer bet. I think spraying anything would have a greater chance of liquid finding it's way into someplace you don't want it. Fire that baby up before it dries and you have got yourself a $100+ paper weight. I don't think that it is likely that you would fry it, but I wouldn't take the chance. At any rate it is the top of the key cap that you are most interested in disinfecting.

I would agree with what has been posted - spraying any substance on a Deck is something of a bad idea in my opinion. Keep in mind it is much less splash resistant than many of your more common membrane keyboards. Lysol wipes would also be my recommendation, or even a cloth that is damp (not dripping) with a bleach solution.
