 Post subject: Support for Canada?

I'm considering buying a deck, but it seems my only option is to go through performance-pc since I live in Canada, even though I'd rather buy directly from here.

However, will I still receive support from Deck if my board turns out to be defective, or if I have any issues?

Yes you will still receive support from Deck, however you may have to go through Performance-PCs for the return/exchange. Honestly I can't recall ever having to answer this question so I would rather not do it incorrectly...please let me discuss with the rest of the Deck team and I will repost with a better answer.

PS - sorry for the delay in communcation, I have been out of the office with limited access to internet.

From what I have been told you will need to contact the site you purchased your Deck from to obtain support - so if you purchase from Performance-PCs you will need to contact them for returns or repairs. I will update our returns page to reflect this.

If you (or any other customers) do purchase from a reseller site and have issues with returns/repairs through that reseller please contact us and we will work through it.

Alright, thanks for the info. I certainly hope I'll never have to worry about needing repairs, seeing as how well built this keyboard is, but I appreciate your prompt reply to my concerns =)

I just wanted to follow up on this thread. I recently got a dead LED on my keyboard, and contacted Performance-PC's regarding it, and received this reply:

I have adjusted our return policy for orders placed through one of our resellers, it can be viewed on the 'Returns' page:

NOTE: Please always visit the page at the above link for current information, it may have been updated after this post was made. I will continue to update this policy as needed to better serve our customers.

Major changes to be aware of:
  • International customers who purchased our products via a reseller can send returns to Deck directly but will be responsible for payment of return shipping charges. All international customers are asked to contact us first at technicalsupport@deckkeyboards.com before returning anything; there may be a solution that is easier, faster, and cheaper depending on the situation.
  • If returns are approved after 30 days there will be a 20% restocking fee.
