Hello,
I have been using my Legend keyboard for about 2.5 years and I really like it vs other keyboards I have owned. Unfortunately, I have recently developed an annoying problem with my Legend keyboard. Starting last week, my down arrow has decided to randomly register two presses when I only press once on the key. It will do it about once every 25-30 presses, but the frequency has slowly been increasing.
I verifed that it was the Legend by testing another USB keyboard on my PC. The problem didn't happen with the other keyboard, only the Legend.
Could some please help or offer suggestions as to how to fix the problem?

I admittedly have some reservations about washing the keyboard...I don't think its for me, as I am too afraid that I will break it.
How much would it cost me to get it fixed? I have this issue as well as my backslash key rubs on the casing if you don't press it just right.
So I assume it would break down like this:
Return Shipping $60 default charge $? for down arrow switch $? cost to fix backslash key
Is that accurate? I admit if it gets close to $100 it might not be worth fixing because I'm over 50% the cost of a new keyboard.
How difficult is it to swap out the switch yourself? What part number do I use on DigiKey's website? Again, I have reservations about doing this kind of work myself because of the fear of breaking it.
I think I'll try to take the cap off tonight and see if I can clean it out, though I am skeptical that it will help.
