I'm not sure of the logistics involved in this type of setup but I thought it would be cool to have a blacklight Deck.

Not sure exactly what you mean by 'blacklight Deck'...do you want the LEDs to be mini-blacklights so to speak or do you just want the keyboard itself to react to UV light?

With respect to making the LEDs UV that would be a mod you could do but wont be offered for our standard products - from our FAQs on the main site:

Quote:
Will other backlighting colors be available on future keyboards models? For example, white backlit?

We do not offer white or other color LED versions because the cost of these LEDs makes the keyboards significantly more expensive than the red, yellow, blue, and green backlit keyboards. Please keep in mind that the LEDs we use are super-bright; typical inexpensive LEDs won't do the job.

If you want the keyboard itself to be reactive to a blacklight you will probably need to mod it yourself...there are too many costs involved to make the whole keyboard reactive and I don't think there would be enough people interested to justify it. Regardless, check this stuff out - clear/invisible UV paint:

I've been reading the forums as of late, planning on purchasing two Decks and then modding one of them.
Regarding this question, would the LEDs on the link below work?

This would be done with an Ice or Toxic Deck, if possible.

Those LEDs will not work, they are too big (5mm). The Deck uses 3mm LEDs. Look at this part on that website:

Those should work according to the specs but I can't guarantee anything. They also have a much shorter lifespan (100,000 hours) than a standard Deck.

You can use this page from our website to try and match up LED specs:
