so i got my keyboards (82-ice, and legend-ice) and i absolutely LOVE them...definitely my favourite keyboards ever...having said that...i only have 2 complaints...1 for each of the boards...

82: the keys themselves are quite a bit higher than a normal keyboard...even compared to the legend...the reason is that the casing forces the pcb to be higher and thus the keys sit higher than normal... it makes typing for a long time slightly uncomfortable w/o some sort of height adjustment

legend: only thing i can complain about the legend is that its too plain as far as the casing is concerned...i bought the 82 for the looks and customizability, i bought the legend because i need a full size keyboard...i adore the legend and 95%+ of the time its the board im using...and i just wish i could spruce up the looks like the 82...a clear casing and/or pcb w the black aluminum support realigned so the printing on the pcb shows through would be amazing and do so much aesthetically imo

anyways...just wanted to come on and say that im still using the boards, i still love them absolutely and completely, and i recommend them to everyone who is looking for a new board...just PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do something for the looks on the legend...please lol

The 82 key Deck does sit a bit high for my taste as well but it is nothing a wrist pad doesnt fix. If you felt really ambitious you could modify the housing to make it sit slightly lower, or if you remove the bottom pan it should drop it down some. Will pass this on to engineering and see what we can do down the road in terms of a modification.

We had talked about making a clear Legend case but so far there hasn't been enough interest to justify the production costs, and although we would like to do it the almighty dollar still rules. If we can ever justify the cost it will be done.

also wanted to add that i think the new colours for the forums r really nice...it makes it pop so much better than the red u guys had before...at least imo

Hehe thanks very much! I mainly did it because we were using the old version of phpBB and spam was a persistent problem; the new design coincided with the updated software. Voila! No spam and a shiny new look!

No, sorry I can't make any suggestions, I am not aware of any other products with a clear case that the Deck board would fit inside.

I've never had time to pursue case mods, but this comment reminded me of some cool keyboard mods I've seen before. I've always thought the Deck would be a good candidate for something like this:
