Im trying to decide between your keyboard and the Luxeed. If you know can you tell me why your keyboard is better?

Depends if you are looking for a Frisbee that glows in the dark or a sub light speed intergalactic ship.

Luxeed are shiny fragile pieces of art you hang on the wall. (Bling)

Deck are robust high end backlit keyboards you can beat forever.

Not much comparison possible.

Luxeed -> Pros(Dynamic Color), Cons(Qality)

Thin like that, I'll bet hard cash it is a membrane based keyboard with very short key travel similar to what you can find on laptops.

Expect a lifespan hundred of times shorter than the mechanical switches you will find in a Deck.

Send an email to luxeed support and ask them how many cycles their switches are good for.

The Luxeed is probably something you want to consider if you don't mind spending 200$ for laptop feel and durability on a desktop keyboard.

deck4ever is right - the Luxeed uses laptop-style switches with a membrane and lifespan will be much shorter than a Deck keyboard. To compare - a similar style keyboard offered by our parent conpany, TG3 Electronics, has a key stroke life cycle rating of about 5 million strokes max. Deck offers 50 million stroke mechanical switches.

Right - 5M vs 50M is more like it.
Let me take back my "hundred" and rephrase:
Deck is just ten times better.

For the difference you get when it comes to feel + switch lifespan + LED brightness I still say Deck are 100 times (better but I might be slightly biased ). I don't think there is any way I would ever pay $200 for a keyboard that has laptop style switches.

Oh and as an obsessive compulsive high end keyboard buyer, I received my DAS III Pro this week. Besides the fact that the DAS is not backlit, I still prefer the Deck.

The DAS is lighter and uses the same clicky tactile switches I have in my TVS Gold.

One thing very important for me when I evaluate a keyboard is how the keycaps are sitting on the switches. I really don’t like when I can easily tilt the keys while applying pressure off center of the keys. The keycaps must always stay parallel with the board. The TVS Gold fails that test and unfortunately the DAS too, although not as badly as the TVS.
