I bought my Deck keyboard back in 2006. Early 2006. It has performed and continues to perform spectacularly. I am not making a comment on the quality of this excellent product. But year after year I have returned to the website to discover fewer and fewer options.
First to go was the add-on number pad. Next, the colors for the 82-key began to disappear. And despite clearly having trouble keeping their sales up (I assume that's why the offerings shrink rather than expand) the company's Deck branch has remained entirely unflexible. They refuse to sell replacement keycaps. They refuse to produce other colors -- even the RED 82-key that TG3 already makes! (The TG82R is just the 82-key with red lights). And most of all, and this baffles me, they refuse to bring that ungodly price down to $99 from $119.
I understand that the economy is bad, but I am getting the feeling that TG3 is going to discontinue the Deck line within a year or two.
Thoughts?

The add on numberpad sold very poorly due to the Legend being released shortly afterwards. If we had kept it around we probably would lose money - unfortunately this isn't a good way to run a business.
Not many people ordered the keycaps so we killed those too. Can't offer a product that only 10 people out of 1,000 buy...
Also due to the popularity of the Legend people stopped buying the 82 key almost entirely except for the Ice model - this is why it is the only one left around.
The TG3 model TG82R is NOT the 82 key with red lights. This is an entirely different product.
Price cannot go down because costs keep rising. Quality goods are not cheap to manufacture.
This topic is just trolling, therefore it is locked.
