Cut to the chase, I want to know if I can press 4 keys at once, specifically, all four arrow keys at once. Some keyboards only allow you to press up to two keys at one time, so if this keyboard has a +4 key buffer, I'll be set to buy one.

Actually, this issue is related to something called "phantom key" detection
rather than the size of the data buffer.

The Deck keyboard allows you to hold down either the "up" or "down" arrowkey (but not both), and then press both "left" and "right" arrow keys
simultaneously. You can also press both the "up" or "down" arrow keys
simultaneously (without pressing either the "left" or "right" arrow keys).
However, it's not possible to hold all four arrow keys down simultaneously
with the current key matrix layout.

Ok, I guess I'll hold off on buying, then. With my current keyboard I can hold all 4 arrows at once, which is important for me (again, stepmania) so I'll stick to that. Thanks for the info.

But yeah, there will be points in a song when I need to hold two arrows and hit the other two, so if the keyboard can't handle that, I'm out of luck on that part of the song.

This issue is now fixed with all Deck boards except the Deck 82 fire which will be fixed with the next production run. Key combinations are limited to any 6 keys (including all 4 arrows at the same time) plus all modifier keys.
