1. Keycap replacement kits come with a keycap remover.

2. Holding the ring, slide the two prongs down the sides of the keycap.

3. Gently pull the ring up. The keycap should pop right off.

To put a new keycap on, put it in place and push down.

• If you don't have a keycap remover, paperclips will do. Use one or two paperclips.
  
• If you use one, slide a rounded end of the paperclip under the corner of the keycap and wiggle it lose. Work a few of the corners until it comes off.
  
• If you use two paperclips, slide the rounded ends of the paperclips under two of the opposite corners of the keycap and pull upward.
